My Very First HAED!

I started my very first HAED a couple of days ago.  It's called Catching The Breeze.

There are 90 colors in the design!

Here's my little start

This design has 45 pages to it!  I'm pretty sure that I've lost my mind.

Chelle
and I are starting our first stitch-a-long tomorrow and Linda will be starting on Tuesday. Here's the picture again of what we are stitching.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Happy Stitching!!

  2. Love your HAED. I am really new to HAED but already love them. Great progress. Look forward to seeing more. I agree with the comment above, one page at a time.

  3. I've got my project out and I'm still in pajamas waiting for hubby to come home from the grocery store.

I have refigured my HAED to see about doing a different fabric over two and damn, those fabrics are expensive! And it will be HUGE!!! And mine's only 20 pages, so I can't begin to imagine how much your framing is going to cost. (heehee)

Very pretty start on your HAED, Carrie. And I can't wait to start on our...oops. Hubby's home. In my new car, thank you so much for asking!!! LOL

Will check in with your progress later today. :o)

    Hugs,
    Chelle

  4. That looks like a great start to your first HAED! I have only done 200 stitches on my first HAED way back on January 1st. I haven't picked it back up again until I figure how to grid it. Mine will be 12"x14" on 25ct stitched over 1.

  5. I am excited for you. I love the HAED you chose. You are a brave soul. I would love to try my hand at a pattern that big, but I have enough problems finishing just one page. Nice progress so far. Can't wait to see the next update.

  8. I know how you feel about the HAED. I'm working on two right now and feel like "what was I thinking" while stitching.
