Look what I won.....
This was the giveaway that Chelle was having; she even included the floss! The fabric is linen, which I have never stitched on. Ever. It's so soft and so intimidating! I'm almost afraid to stitch on it because I don't want to ruin it. But I guess I just need to jump in head first and see how it goes!
Thank you Chelle, I love everything!!
I'm heading to my stitching chair to work on Fern and to think about starting Butterfly! lol
Happy Stitching!

Do not be afraid. Just make sure you do something to keep the edges from fraying and you'll be fine.
I'm glad you like it. :o)
Hugs,
Chelle
Congratulations on your win from Chelle! Such an adorable chart she gifted you! :)
Very pretty win! And as Chelle said, make sure to finish the edges of the fabric to prevent fraying. I also find using Q-Snaps with my linen works very well and easier to count the holes since linen is so soft and floppy :) Don't be afraid!
Hello
Found your blog through Jo's blog.
You have some lovely stitching and congrats on your lovely win!
Great win. Lovely chart.
Lovely win, Carrie. And don't worry about stitching on linen, it's not hard at all. I'm sure you can find a diagram online that will make it clear easily. Have fun!!! Can't wait to see Fern.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Great win and your stitching is lovely
I'll be back
What a wonderful prize! I am stitching on linen right now and the holes are actually easier to see than on evenweave. Good luck!
