A Finish!

Sorry I've been so lazy with posting but I had lost my stitching mojo and my blogging mojo but I think I have it back now with my latest finish.

IN YOUR PRESENCE - HOUSE BUTTON SET
Cross Country Stitching Magazine - Dec. 2008

This was stitched on 14 count oatmeal Aida using DMC floss.

It's suppose to be a hot one here today so you'll be able to find me in my stitching chair with a cold drink in one hand and my needle in the other!
Happy Stitching!

I Should Have Just Gone to Work!

I took the day off work today to relax, stitch and catch up on all my recordings on my DVR.  I got all settled into my chair this morning with my coffee and stitching and turned on the TV.  To my horror everything is gone.  All of my recordings are gone! I had the last episodes of Ringer and Castle on there, along with several other shows, and they are gone.  All of them.  Gone.  Excuse me while I get a tissue.

I called the cable company and they tried resetting my box but that didn't work; they said that my hard drive must have crashed.  They said they would MAIL me a new box and I should receive it in a few days.  I told the lady that that was totally unacceptable! I pay a lot of money for my cable (not to mention my Internet & phone are with the same company) and I shouldn't have to wait a few days for a new box to arrive in the mail.  A technician will be here this afternoon with my new box. Sometimes you just have to be bitchy to get the service you deserve!

In the meantime, I have nothing to watch on TV while I stitch.  I should have just gone to work!

Okay, I'm done moaning.  Now for a couple of progress pictures.  Here's Fern and Autumn Fairy.

Hope everyone has a great weekend full of stitching!

Finally, Some Stitching!

I finally managed to put my iPod down long enough to put a few stitches into Fern and Tall Pines.  Here are some updated photos.

It's hot and humid here today so I plan to spend the evening in my stitching chair with a tall glass of something cold and my needle in my hand!

Happy Stitching!
