I Am So Lucky!

I have the greatest stitching friend ever!!  Look what I found in my mailbox yesterday....

Isn't that the most adorable chart?  Chelle  sent me this chart as a birthday gift, it even included the floss and fabric!  What a wonderful gift and what a wonderful friend I have!  Thank you so much Chelle, you really made my day!!

I'm home from work today, thought I would add an extra day to my long weekend.  I started the beading on Mermaids of the Deep Blue and can I just say OMG!  The beading is going to take me forever, there are just so many beads to attach. I started beading around 9:00 o'clock this morning and this is all I have managed to get done (it's almost 1:00 o'clock!!)  I have taken a "few" breaks, but still, what a freaking slow process this is!

 

My neck and back are killing me and I haven't even made a dent in the number of beads I need to attach.

I don't know how much I'll get done this weekend, my hubby is taking to me to a Travis Tritt concert tomorrow night and afterwards some gambling at the casino!  Sunday I will be spending most of the day and evening at the county fair working a booth for my candidate for sheriff.  Hopefully I can make some kind of progress on this today.

Stitching the Day Away!

SAL Update & Other Weekend Stitching

SAL Update

I'm a day late posting my SAL update with Chelle, but I was just too tired to post last night.  In fact I didn't even pick up a needle last night!!  And so far tonight my needle has not made it into any fabric and I'm not sure that it will.  Here is where I'm at with All Hearts Come Home.

I also noticed that HAED is having a 50% off sale.  I am so tempted to buy a few charts but I know if I buy them I will have to start them and how many HAED's can a person stitch at one time?  The sale ends at midnight on the 10th so I really need to make up my mind.  Should I or shouldn't I?  For those of you that stitch HAED's how many do you stitch at once?  I have just started my very first one and so far I really love it and want to do more but I know I really shouldn't start them all at the same time, especially given the number of WIP's I already have, but I know I won't be able to control myself!

Oh well I could have a worse addiction! Right?

Finally, I can comment on blogs thanks to Chelle! I had tried everything possible to be able to comment and Chelle finally figure out that I had a windows problem.  I had been getting onto the Internet through Internet Explorer and she told me to get on through Firefox and it worked, I was able to comment on her blog!!
