It's that time of year when I take a couple of days off work to spring clean my house so I'm up early and ready to get started! I love the feeling I get from a fresh smelling, deeply cleaned house, I just wish it would stay that way longer then it does!
I've been busy the last few days but I did manage to get started on this....

This is the chart that I won from Lesli at Fabulous Frogger. It's actually my very first LHN chart and I'm really loving it so far. Sorry for the crappy picture but I can't figure out what I did to my camera to cause this yellowish tint to appear.
Well time for coffee, a little blog reading, and then off to spring clean!
Have a great Wednesday everyone and Happy Stitching!

Carrie,
I was getting that yellowish tint too. It was a combination of the color lamp shades I have, the fact that I was taking the pictures with the lamps on, and I wasn't using my flash.
Try putting your flash on and see if that helps. Oh, and are you taking your pics at night? Try it during the day, with the flash on (even if it's bright) and that should take care of it.
Love your start. I am going to have to try a LHN design. I just ordered my first Heaven and Earth pattern and that's going to be a LOOONG project because every single square has a stitch!

Love your new start. This piece is so pretty.
Chelle has given you some good tips :)
nice you won this chart. On what fabric are you stitching? you have a yellowish tint to your pictures, I usually get a rose colored picture:-)
I should also mention that I have hardwood floors and they seem to contribute to the yellowish tint. I put my pieces against a pillow with a white case on it, turn the ott light on it, and the flash on the camera and that finally got rid of the yellow tint. So frustrating when you have a good camera and can't figure out why it won't take decent pictures!
Thanks for the suggestions Chelle. I always have a light on when I take my pictures, so I'll turn it out next time!
Great start. Have this one in my stash.
