IT'S BEEN A BUSY WEEK, AND IT'S ONLY TUESDAY....

The last two days have been filled, and not with stitching!  Last night I went with my son to pick up his very first brand new car!  We got to the dealership around 4:30pm and didn't get home until almost 8:00!  I had forgotten how much paperwork is involved in purchasing a new car.  He got himself a Ford Fiesta.  He has never been the kind of boy who is all about his car, which is good because for the last several years he has been driving a hand me down from his dad and I, a 1999 Stratus.  It was new when we bought it and it has served its purpose but it was definitely on its last leg.  Anyway, he loves his Fiesta and is really happy that he will be getting much better gas mileage then he has been getting from the Stratus.

The County Fair started today and as the sheriff's secretary I always work his booth several times during the week so I spent two hours there this afternoon.  After that I headed to my local BMV where I got my drivers license renewed.  I can't understand why the picture on my license always looks so horrible, is that really what I look like? Yikes!

I have to share a couple pictures of the growing kitties.  They have doubled their size in a little over a week.  I think they should be opening their eyes by the end of this week.

And I can't have a post without a little bit of stitching.  This is what I am stitching on this evening.

Now it's time to settle in my chair and get to stitching!

Happy stitching everyone!
