IS IT FRIDAY YET?

It's been one of those weeks at work, and it's only Tuesday.  I've been busy transcribing interview tapes and the long hours of sitting, listening, and typing is really taking a toll on my neck, shoulders, back, and butt!  The tapes wouldn't be so bad to transcribe if I didn't have to strain at times to hear, and understand, what the suspect is saying.

It's very exhausting and by the time I come home I'm a bit on the cranky side and I just want to veg in front of the TV.   So, I haven't done a lot of stitching but I did manage to put a few stitches into these WIP's

WITCHES & WHISKERS
By:  Designs By Lisa

This piece is being stitched on 14 count lavender Aida with DMC floss.

AUGUST SAMPLER
By: Waxing Moon

My August Sampler is being stitched on 14 count oatmeal Aida using DMC floss.

So I'm looking forward to another fun-filled day tomorrow of listening to interrogations and adding lots of new words to my vocabulary!

Happy Stitching everyone!

Carrie,

I used to do the exact same job, except for a forensic psychologist and I transcribed his reports about child molesters and bad parents and other criminal types and it was horrifyingly depressing. So I can relate.

And it is really hard on the body too. Can you take a "mental health" (read stitch) day?

Witches & Whiskers looks great! Your August sampler is very pretty too!

I have also been transcribing for almost 30 years, but medical and not the type you're doing. It certainly would be different to hear more than one voice at a time!

I like the pieces your working on. I love the WM August sampler. I started January a couple years ago. I really need to get back working on these.
