IT'S BEEN ONE LONG WEEK

I have never been so happy to get to Friday.  The weeks usually just fly by but this week has been endless.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to stitch on this evening so I closed my eyes and reached into my WIP pile and out came Fern by Nora Corbett.  Here's how she looked when I started on her.

And here's how she looks after a few hours of stitching.

This is what she'll look like when she's done.

Sorry for the crappy pictures, I don't know why the last two have that weird tint to them.

Now I'm tired and calling it a night.  Hope everyone has a great weekend full of stitching!

Great progress. Look forward to seeing more. I agree I think it has been a long week too.

Are you putting in the finishing like French knots and backstitching as you go? I usually save all of that for the end and I absolutely HATE it that it's waiting for me.

I would be worried that I would manage to somehow mess up the knots if I put them in before I had finished the piece though.

I love Nora Corbett. She's an awesome designer.

Wow, you've really gotten a lot done on Fern. She's looking really good. Keep up the good work and you'll have a finish before you know it. (I'm a little jealous. I wish I stitched that fast...)
